Suspect sought in College Point purse snatching

COLLEGE POINT — The Police Department was looking for a woman suspected of stealing a pocketbook at the Marshall’s Department store in Flushing in late October.

On Oct. 23 at 5:15 p.m., an Asian woman removed an unattended pocketbook from the victim inside the Marshall’s on 40-24 College Point Blvd., police said.

The NYPD has not yet apprehended the suspect, according to Sgt. Lee Jones, a spokesman for the Police Department.
