Man remanded to Creedmoor escapes after swapping clothes with friend: NYPD

BELLEROSE — Cops were searching for a 33-year-old man who authorities said escaped from the Creedmoor Psychiatric Facility Tuesday.

Police said Raymond Morillo swapped clothes with a friend who visited him at the hospital and then walked out around 11:25 a.m. The visitor also walked out of the facility at 79-25 Winchester Blvd., the NYPD said.

Morillo is described as a Hispanic man standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds. He has a tear drop tattoo under his left eye and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, white sweater and tan pants, according to cops.
