Cops brought in a South Jamaica man Monday suspected of gunning down an associate of the hip-hop artist 50 Cent in Springfield Gardens last month, police said.

The NYPD arrested 35-year-old Jamal Scott Monday morning at his job in Midtown Manhattan on a murder charge and four counts of attempted murder in connection with the Jan. 3 shooting, the department said.

Authorities said Scott allegedly opened fire on a car parked at the corner of 134th Avenue and Farmers Boulevard, killing Jamal Green, a 42-year-old rapper who went by the stage name Mazaradi Fox, and injuring three others at the scene.

In addition to the murder and attempted murder charges, Scott was awaiting arraignment on charges of felony assault, attempted felony assault and five counts of weapons possession, police said.
