Disabled woman sexually abused at Resorts World: Authorities
By Sarina Trangle

A 37-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing a 40-year-old disabled woman in the women’s bathroom at Resorts World Feb. 2, police said.

The Queens district attorney’s office charged Frank Wood with sexual abuse, attempted rape and criminal sexual act after an eyewitness allegedly heard Wood tell the victim, “Don’t tell anybody,” watched him leave and then discovered the woman naked in a bathroom stall, at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., according to the criminal complaint.

The Aqueduct Racetrack and Resorts World share the 110-00 Rockaway Blvd. address, but police said the incident occurred on the racino’s property.

The victim’s mother described her daughter as having the mental capacity of a 2-year-old, according to the complaint.

Wood is scheduled to appear in court March 3.

His attorney did not immediately return calls for comment.
