Queens woman found dead in van in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN—A 25-year-old woman who was reported missing in northeast Queens was found dead in her boyfriend’s van in Brooklyn last week, according to the NYPD.

The woman, who was living with her boyfriend, was reported missing from the 109th Precinct area, by her boyfriend the afternoon of April 22, a police spokesman said last week. The woman’s identity was still pending family notification.

She was found dead inside her boyfriend’s van, which has Pennsylvania license plates, on Lafayette Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn at about 10:24 p.m., the spokesman said.

The cause of manner of death is still under investigation, according to Julie Bolcer, a spokeswoman for the city medical examiner.
